A Personal Perspective
Elizabeth is 16 years old and was born in the Kakuma refugee camp; her future aspirations are constrained by her refugee status. Representatives from LEEP had the opportunity to spend an afternoon with Elizabeth at her home, where she shared what a typical day looks like for her and the thousands of girls in Kakuma. This is her story.
